The Campaigns page is the first thing you’ll see (by default) after logging in. To get started, to create a Campaign for your project, click the green ‘Create New’ button.
If you have already created Backlink campaigns previously, you will find them on this page.
There’s no limit to the number of campaigns you can create in Think Backlinks. You can set up a campaign for each project or client you are working with, from simple website backlink campaigns to promoting an article, blog submissions or bookmarking campaigns.
After clicking the ‘Create New’ button, follow the on-screen instructions. You will be asked to provide the following information:
Campaign Name: give the campaign a unique name that you can easily identify.
Client Name: Either your name or the client you’re working for.
Campaign URL: The web address you are building a campaign for.
Status: Active (by default) or Archived when the campaign is finished.
Tags: We love tags as this helps us suggest the best backlinks that match your campaign. Type in your keywords or key phrases.
Short Description: a brief description of your campaign that you plan to use when submitting your backlinks.
Long Description: This field is used for long descriptions, articles or blog submissions. You can add the links/URLs to a website that you’re building a campaign for.
Email Address: This is the real email for the campaign.
Telephone: This is yours or your customer’s telephone number.
Mobile: This is yours or your customer’s mobile number.
Your Name: Either your customer’s name or your name.
Submission Approval Email Address: When building your backlink campaigns you need an email address which you use to prove you’re a real person. However many websites will use this email for email marketing. For this reason, we recommend you use a Gmail address, not your main business email address otherwise this will receive unwanted spam.
Campaign Username: We recommend using your websites name, like “thinkbacklinks“.
Campaign Password: The password you are going to use for each submission.
Campaign Notes: This area can be used for any content that you think is needed when submitting backlinks.
So you’ve created your campaign. Now it’s time to discover backlinks to promote your campaign. Click on the green “Add Backlinks” button.
This is the most important step, finding the right backlinks for your campaign. You can search a sector, (for example legal, manufacturing, retail, clothes, fashion, shoes, the list is endless), keyword or key phrase and filter by backlink type, for example, article or blog then the sector you are looking for.
Our search engine will help you qualify you how good the backlink is too, using industry leading scores such as Moz Sub Domain Rank, Alexa Rank and Domain Authority
We also have a five-star rating system used by members to share how easy to the submission was.
Here’s some guidance to help you understand the backlink scores and qualify the backlinks –
Moz Subdomain Rank: The two most common subdomain choices are, http://www.example.com (“www” is the subdomain) and http://example.com (has no subdomain)
Alexa Rank: Alexa Rank is a tool which checks global traffic rankings of websites or domain names. It checks millions of website around the world and puts them into number system from number 1 too infinity. Our system is integrated with Alexa Rank and shows you the ranking value of that chosen backlink website.
Domain Authority: Domain Authority on a 100-point, logarithmic scale based on a website’s popularity, MozRank, MozTrust, etc. Thus, it’s significantly easier to grow your score from 20 to 30 than it is to grow from 70 to 80. Generally speaking, sites with a very large number of high-quality external links (such as Wikipedia or Google.com) are at the top end of the Domain Authority scale, whereas small businesses and websites with fewer inbound links may have a much lower DA score. Brand new websites will always start with a Domain Authority score of one. Reference: https://moz.com/learn/seo/domain-authority

Please note we have no control over the website you are submitting to, we can only list it in the Think Backlinks database. If the site has changed or has been closed, please let us know.
Once you have submitted your backlink submission, it could either instantly be active or an administrator of the website would need to check the listing before it goes live. This process is down to the owner of the site you are submitting to; we have no control over this process.
